The Hollywood Stars were a Pacific Coast league team who began play in Los Angeles in 1926. They actually began as the Sacramento Solons in 1903, had their name changed to the Raisin Eaters when they moved to Fresno, and ended up as The Hollywood Bees before changing to the Stars officially in 1926. The original Stars later moved to San Diego and became the Padres in 1936. A newer version of the Hollywood Stars emerged in 1938 and eventually had stockholders including Gene Autrey and "I LOVE LUCY" Star, William Frawley.
