What's a midwestern country boy from Iowa doing in a Stanford Cardinal Original Retro Brand Shirt? The Hawkeyes football team are 6-0 for the first time since 1985, yet Tom Arnold is rockin' "The Tree"! The Cardinal are 4-2, and did have nice back to back wins over a ranked Washington Husky team & UCLA, but Tom got his comedy break as a stand-up at the University of Iowa - where is the love, Tom? Tom did star in the 2007 Indie film, Palo Alto, so he probably fell in love with the Stanford campus (located in Palo Alto, Ca.) which is an AMAZING campus.
Well Tom certainly is a country boy at heart after all. As host of the Country Music Television hit series, "My Big Redneck Wedding," Tom gets to sit down to a wedding feast of roast squirrel and turkey testicles (Yummmmmy), along with a rousing shotgun salute to the lovely bride and groom featured on one of the episodes. Maybe Tom thinks having a Big Red shirt on is appropriate since he is the host of "My Big Redneck Wedding"?
Arnold has starred in over 50 Hollywood films and TV series since breaking into the business in the mid 1980's. He is probably best known for his former marriage to comedienne Roseanne Barr (much to his chagrin). His biggest film break came when he co-starred with former actor, and current California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1994 film True Lies. He was also an original host of the Best Damn Sports Show Period on Fox.
