$400 WORTH OF ORIGINAL RETRO BRAND GEAR UP FOR GRABS!

MR. LAFOON WILL GET HIS PRIZE SOON

28 college bowls games down, 7 to go.  That means there is only one week left in the College Football season, and one week left in the Original Retro Brand “Beat The Brass” Bowl contest.

I suppose I could recap how TCU won one for the little guys, how the Big 10 stunk it up, how Urban Meyer is leaving and Joe Pa isn’t, how the Vols thought they had a win with no time on the clock, but ended up losing AGAIN, how Army & Air Force made the country proud AGAIN, how UCF won their first bowl game in their first attempt ever by knocking off my beloved & befuddled Bulldogs, and how Jimbo Fisher has made us “fear the spear” AGAIN, but I’d rather just get to the contest details…

Dante Alexander of Toms River, New Jersey, Seth Hoffberg of West Linn, Oregon, & David Laffoon of Littleton, Colorado all picked the most games from last week correctly at 13-7.  Since we had a 3-way tie, a drawing to determine the winner of the 2 FREE Original Retro Brand T- shirts had to be conducted, and the winner of that drawing is David Laffoon.  Dave picks merchandise as well as he does games, as he’s chosen this stupendous Whalers shirt, and this equally stupendous Lone Star Beer hat for his prizes.  Congrats David!

The new customer standings are now posted below (W-L from last week in parenthesis).  Let’s be honest and say I’m no BCS computer, and I haven’t tried to figure out who’s mathematically in or out based on the remaining schedule,  but it’s pretty clear that at least half of you are still in the running to win the top 3 prizes of $200, $125, and $75 worth of Original Retro Brand gear.  It’s also clear that I am stinking up the joint (11 – 17),  and only Original Retro Brand CEO Marc Herman, still has a shot to ensure nobody “Beats the Brass” as he currently stands at a respectable 16 – 12.  Come awn, boss!

This is a damn fine contest, and I want to thank ORB. There is not a evening that goes bye, that I am not logging onto my sent email to ORB to remind myself who I chose, especially with the smaller worthless bowl games. Good Job ORB!!

Thanks for the nice comments Shaun. And with 2 more wins under your belt, you are a frontrunner in the standings. You have Miami of Ohio tonight btw. GOOD LUCK!
